Bi-lingual expertise

As well as offering services in and through the medium of English, we can offer to translate your media resources into, or out of, French.  Equally, we can record bi-lingual commentary onto videos and add multi-lingual subtitles.  We can easily cope with French and English, other languages will require that you check carefully any proofs that we provide.

World Englishes and semiotics

We can provide the services of an expert trained in understanding the various flavours of the English language spoken around the world.  After all, it is important to use the English language in a way which will mean what you want it to mean in the international environment.

Likewise, the same expert has made a study of semiotics (basically, how words make meaning) and multimodality (multimedia is a good approximation).  This will ensure that as far as possible you will be saying exactly what you want to say to your target audience.

Standards compliant websites

Website technology and standards are evolving all the time.  We always do our best to keep abreast with these changes.  All our websites are developed using CSS and try to be as accessible as possible to those who have sight problems.  We will also be working to make all our websites suitable for browsing on mobile phones as well as being printer friendly, although the time involved in doing this correctly is not always worth the effort.

We can include non-intrusive code on any website which will give you good statistics on where your site is being viewed from, using which browser and what technology.  These figures will let you know if anything about your site needs changed.
